UK-China Young Leaders Roundtable

The UK-China Young Leaders Roundtable was launched in 2010 to help bridge the gulf in understanding among young politicians of both countries, finding ways to work together for mutual prosperity, and building a network of lasting personal relationships between the next generation of leaders in China and the UK.

The UK-China Young Leaders Roundtable is now also a key component of the annual People-to-People Dialogue (P2PD), one of the core high-level annual government bilateral exchanges with China. In 2015 and 2016 GBCC worked with Secretary of State for Health the Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP to maximise the impact of both events, and hosted Vice Premier Liu Yandong for an address to UK and Chinese delegates on both occasions.
