Support Us

Support
Our work is funded by a combination of multilateral, government and private funds, charity foundations and voluntary giving. We welcome offers of donations, large or small and are happy to discuss how your contribution would be spent.

If you are interested in supporting us or sponsoring projects in our various programme areas please look at the various ways to do so. Click on the links below to find out more:

Trusts, Foundations, & Corporate Giving

Donations from major funders are vital to the ongoing development and success of our work. Their generous support enables us to continue our vital programme of work and the development of key rights in China.

Donors can choose to support our general fund. This income is extremely valuable as it enables us to direct our resources to the projects of greatest need and priority.

Some donors prefer to support specific project work and our fundraising team is able to work with individual organisations to find appropriate projects that match their funding criteria.

We are always keen to develop relationships with new trusts and foundations. If you are a trustee or have links with a trust or foundation that shares our aims, we would be happy to hear from you. For more information, please contact us directly; see below for contact details .

Making a single donation

One-off and ad hoc donations by cheque are welcome, however large or small. Address and payment information is at the end of this page. Click here

Make a Regular Donation

Supporting the Great Britain-China Centre with a regular donation by banker's order is a simple and effective way to support our work. See below for contact details to request a banker's order form.

Leaving a legacy gift

You can leave a gift to the Great Britain-China Centre in your will in three ways:
  • A residuary legacy (all or part of the net value of your estate)
  • A pecuniary legacy (a specific sum of money)
  • A specific legacy (a particular item of value, such as jewellery, property or shares)
We recommend that you consult a solicitor before making or amending your will. They will be able to ensure that your will is legally valid and that everything you need to cover is included.
