The Great Britain-China Centre publishes and distributes, free of charge, various electronic publications. China ReviewThe China Review is the GBCC’s newly re-designed in-house publication. It supersedes China Review magazine (see below) which ceased publication in its old glossy format in September 2005. The Review includes commissioned articles about contemporary China as well as news-in-brief about the GBCC’s activities and the All-Party Parliamentary China Group (APPCG) with whom the Centre is cooperating. The Review is published quarterly and mailed out as an attached pdf document. The first issue was published in March 2006. Projects UpdateThe Projects Update is a detailed description of current GBCC projects and will be of particular interest to specialists and technical advisors. It is mailed out semi-annually and usually goes out as an attached Word document. Back issues are available on request. China Events BulletinThis is a list of up-coming China-related events around the UK, but mainly in London. It includes a Notices section, which contains items of interest such as, for example, a deadline for an important grant application, or an interesting job opportunity. It goes out at unspecified intervals depending on the number of forthcoming events, as a rich text format (rtf) email. China Review MagazineHardcopy back issues of the magazine are still available. If you would like to order back issues contact the GBCC requesting the issues you want and we will calculate the cost. A selection of old articles is still on the website. contact @ gbcc.org.uk
