Political & Economic Dialogues

Since 2007, GBCC has held regular political and economic dialogues involving cross-party groups of UK parliamentarians and senior Chinese officials and policy-makers from the ruling Communist Party and its affiliated Communist Youth League.

Dialogue helps deepen understanding between the politicians and government officials of both countries and builds relationships for the future.

Over 200 Chinese and UK politicians have now attended these dialogues, and alumni have progressed to become ministers in both countries.
