Dialogues

Dialogues

The Great Britain-China Centre (GBCC) facilitates political and judicial dialogues between Chinese and UK counterparts.

Since 2007, GBCC has held regular political and economic dialogues involving cross-party groups of UK parliamentarians and senior Chinese officials and policy-makers from the ruling Communist Party and its affiliated Communist Youth League. Dialogue helps deepen understanding between the politicians and government officials of both countries and builds relationships for the future.

GBCC also facilitates judicial dialogues and cooperation between the UK and China. Central to this work is the annual UK-China Judicial Roundtable, which brings together senior judges from both countries to develop better understanding of each other’s judicial system through sharing experiences and best practice.
