Co-ordination of UK visits by Chinese organisationsThe Great Britain-China Centre designs and delivers tailored professional programmes across the area of its expertise integrating the experience of relevant UK public, private and non-governmental bodies to maximise the effectiveness of visits.
An increasing number of Chinese organisations are now attempting to access UK expertise and best practice through study visits to the UK. Currently these requests are dealt with on an ad hoc basis not maximising the training that could be given or the potential partnership benefits to the UK institutions. The Great Britain-China Centre offers effective engagement with the issues, complemented by the provision of space within the programme for sponsoring institutions to interact with their Chinese contemporaries. In addition, we use our long experience in China to identify and select the most relevant delegations, removing the burden that currently falls on receiving institutions.
